Guardian Angel!!!!

Its taken me almost two weeks to really process this and I want to share this story ....the evening we came back from the hospital after we got Zac's initial diagnosis I was changing his diaper when he said, "angel". THANK GOD Jeff was standing there because he would have never believed me...or better yet he would have acted like he believed me but thought I was crazy. Okay, so he thinks I am crazy all the time but HE HEARD HIM SAY IT TOO! I immediately broke down in tears and said "Zachy what do you see" and he said, "angel mommy". Thank you all for your prayers...I know Z has a guardian angel watching out for him...I like to think it's Nana:)

    hi I found your site when i did a blog search in seattle area for scoliosis. My three year old daughter has scoliosis and I was looking for families in the area to talk with. I wanted to leave a comment for you after reading a little of your blog. My daughter has multiple health issues and we are seen at seattle children's and love the care we receive there but have learned some things while there as well to help make the experience a little better....

    you can request a child life specialist (for MRIs surgeries and ER visits)) for you son who will make it their job to help him feel more comfortable and help you comfort him as well. they will bring him toys to use in the rooms and sit with him in recovery while you are normally not allowed in there because it is recovery ect but they are very very helpful and their goal is to keep your child relaxed as possible so that the hospital experience is as good as it can be.
